Structured Study Hall

Open to all students. Provides a quiet space for studying between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (times may vary depending on site and space availability). This semester, it will be offered at two sites: 122 Hillcrest Hall and 110 Femoyer Hall. and the Multicultural Center in Squires, Johnston Student Center's North Lounge, and Randolph Hall 319. Study Hall offers students an opportunity to add structure to their day by routinely reviewing notes from the class they just left or preparing assignments due in the future. Structured Study Hall also facilitates time management by avoiding the waste of valuable time.

Free tutoring is offered for select 1000 and 2000 level subjects and is available by appointment or on a limited walk-in basis. Appointments may be made by contacting the Office of Academic Enrichment Programs at 231-8887. To make an appointment with a tutor, students must first complete an application. The application is required for each semester they seek assistance.

A non-credit, goal-setting, and self-assessment seminar/workshop series to assist student improve their GPA. The program is available for all undergraduate students with a GPA of less than 2.00. Average improvement in GPA is .65, compared to the semester before participating in Project Success. You must complete an application form to participate. Call for an application or download one from their web site.

Provides individual counseling and group counseling. Helps with personal problems, anxiety, depression, and grief. Excellent source of workshops and on-line sessions for help with: time management, reading comprehension, test-taking strategies, and study skills.
